Of Geo-Politics and Time Travel

An observation of current events as compared to the statements of a man named John Titor

“… I want to add a twist to your thinking. Russia’s enemy in the United States is not you, the average person. Russia’s enemy is the United States government.”

“The “enemy” that was attacked by Russia in the U.S. was the forces of the government you live under right now.”

“… the Russians … knew we would most likely clean up after them so they wanted everyone outside the cities to be able to communicate. Most of the warheads that hit the cities came in threes and exploded close to the ground. The heavy EMP damage was isolated to those areas.”

The above statements were all made in 2000 and 2001 by a man who claimed to be from our future. This man used the names “TimeTravel_0” and “John Titor.”  In my previous book project, entitled Conviction of a Time Traveler,” I discussed TimeTravel_0’s claims and dissected them in great detail.  The analytical work was accomplished in 2009 and the book was published in November 2010.  Suffice it to say that while I stand by the majority of the analytical work that was done in support of the book, I have learned a great deal more since I published in 2010 and my central thesis (‘Time Travel’ is real and occurring now) remains firmly intact and only has been strengthened in recent years.

An addendum to my work is being written now which will detail much of what I have discovered since 2010 (“who turns the wrench?” so to speak). I have no deadline for completion for this project and I work on it as I am able.  Stay tuned for updates.

What I would like to draw your attention to in this essay is merely the internal consistency of TimeTravel_0’s statements across several months of his posts and compare his statements (predictions/memories?) to Putin’s actions as of today, December 30, 2016.

In TimeTravel_0’s posts, he claimed that a ‘civil war’ broke out in the United States. This ‘civil war’ was between, as he characterized it, the ‘cities’ and ‘the country.’ For those familiar with the Titor posts, this is all well-known ground.  He also claimed that the country was deeply divided and, as a likely foil to what we would come to know as ‘fake news,’ he recommended we look at election results, not at the state level, but rather the county level (something that wasn’t normally considered at the time).

But, also within TimeTravel_0’s posts, he provided that “twist” that was unexpected and not easily guessed by any would-be hoaxer: Russia’s scope of attack on “N-Day.”  According to TimeTravel_0, nuke empRussia’s surprise attack focused on the cities and the “heavy EMP damage” was limited to those areas.  He further clarifies and reinforces this statement by saying that the Russian enemy was not the American people, but rather the American government.  I have commented before on the implications of this statement in other essays.  There, I stated that in this small statement, Titor is also claiming that not only does the American government not represent the will of the people, but that The Russian leader who will launch/launched the surprise attack knew this as well. Otherwise, the surprise Russian attack would have not been solely directed at the “cities” as Titor described, but all-encompassing.  According to Titor, this was definitely not what he remembered.

Allowing, for a moment, the bias to inexorably place TimeTravel_0’s predictions within the context of jarrettoday’s news, I would like to highlight the actions of the Russian president in response to President Obama’s actions expelling Russian diplomats just yesterday.  As background for those who are unaware, Obama and his inner circle are so married to the notion (fake news?) that the Russians interfered in the election of President-elect Trump that they have now been forced to “put up or shut up.”  I seriously doubt that many within that inner circle expected the fallout of a statement (true or otherwise) and were completely caught flat-footed when people questioned their pronouncement (fallout for a discredited media and leadership, one assumes).

So, in response and after several weeks, President Obama stated that Russia would “pay” for such an outrageous act. Again, showing his foreign affairs amateur status, he essentially painted himself (and President-elect Trump by extension) into a diplomatic corner and was forced to make good on his threat.

spy_vs_spy_bust_by_daveigoThe actual decision to expel diplomats from the country is, admittedly, a weak one and has occurred between the two powers for decades (although typically on a more individual basis). But what is the most interesting is not President Obama’s actions to expel the diplomats! No.  Instead, the most interesting aspect of this whole episode (to those with an interest in both Geo-politics and ‘time travel.’) was President Putin’s response to Obama’s petulant and ineffectual act.

President Putin has decided to not respond to President Obama’s actions.  Were this 1968, in the middle of the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union, had the United States expelled Soviet ‘diplomats,’ the Soviet Union would have responded in kind.

And in all actuality, the Russian embassy noted this in their tweeted response:

lameduck“President Obama expels 35 (Russian) diplomats in Cold War deja vu. As everybody, incl “American) people, will be glad to see the last of this hapless [administration]”

-Russian Embassy, December 29, 2016

Even the Russians saw President Obama’s actions as a throw back to Cold War tactics. Incredibly, President Putin has decided to break from cold war tradition and not respond in kind.  This act of magnanimity on the part of the Russian government is unprecedented and wholly unexpected by a leader who grew up as an agent of the KGB (now FSB) and who is fully versed in cold war tactics and norms.

President Putin himself personally responded also citing cold war precedent:

vladimir_putin_-_2006“We reserve the right to retaliate, but we will not sink to the level of this irresponsible ‘kitchen’ diplomacy. We will take further moves on restoring Russian-American relations based on the policies that the administration of President-elect Donald Trump adopts.”

-President Vladimir Putin

I will leave it to you, reader, to draw conclusions on how President Putin’s response paints President Obama’s actions. But is this the statement of a leader who is hell-bent on a third world war or a return to Cold War status with the United States?  An unexpected benefit to the information age is that citizens are now no longer beholden to the filters placed upon information to shape a population’s opinions of foreign leaders; rather, we are availed to their words directly and apply our own judgment.

What I do wish to draw your attention to is how President Putin’s statements and deeds reflect TimeTravel_0’s predictions concerning the coming surprise Russian attack.

If you’ll recall, TimeTravel_0 claimed that the enemy of the Russian government was not the American people (drawing a distinction between the two and implying that the government does not represent the will of its citizenry).  Instead, TimeTravel_0 claimed that the surprise Russian attack was aimed at the ‘cities’ and the American government itself.

-TimeTravel_0, Feb 8, 2001

checkmateNow, taken what we have seen in the actions of both President Obama and President Putin, does it appear that Putin himself finds himself at odds with the Obama administration and not the American people?  Were this not the case, he would not be awaiting the inauguration of President-elect Trump as he says he is in the Putin quote above; rather, he would respond in typical Russian/Soviet style by expelling American ‘diplomats’ in a tit-for-tat action.  Incidentally, because the “hapless” [h/t Russian Embassy, UK] Obama administration is obviously well beyond its ken, I can only imagine that those who chose to expel the Russian diplomats fully expected Putin to respond in kind in typical Soviet/Cold War style!  Had Putin done this, US-Russian relations would have been further complicated for the incoming administration and thus putting a smile on the “hapless” Obama administration on their way out the door.

But Putin did not respond as they expected.  Check and mate.

But we aren’t out of the woods yet. There still will be an attack on the population centers (‘cities’) of the United States.  As is readily observable with even a minor piece of objective reasoning, there are factions in the world who are itching for a return to hostilities with Russia.  When this event occurs, be on the look-out for a readiness and rush to blame the Russians for it. They’ve already tried it once before vis-à-vis the recent American election.  One only needs look to history to see this as a common tactic.  How long did it take for Mohammed Atta to be fingered as the ring leader after the attack on 9/11?

We are watching the memories of John Titor play out in front of our eyes. Enjoy the show; grab that gas can and TRust in No one.
